Job Title: Java Developer/ Adobe Flex/Flash Builder developer Project Location: Springfield, IL Duration: 8+ Months Interview Type: Telephonic Job Description : Project Role Description The Java Developer/ Adobe Flex/Flash Builder developer will help confirm the technical solution architecture and "hands on" develop the\ Work Verification System using Adobe Flex and Java software development kit on Eclipse. The developer will work with the architect, other java/Adobe developers, as needed, for each aspect of the application development and work with the team to configure the development and technical infrastructure for the core solution. The developer will also follow key standards and approaches for system development in alignment with overall DHS standards and procedures. The developer will also adhere to Accessibility standards set for the project. The Java/Adobe developer will report to the Application Lead. Required Skills: Java Development Skills . At least 5 years experience in the following: o Java/J2EE in Windows and AIX platforms o Solid Web services knowledge. o DB2/SQL Experience o Data Modeling Experience o Experience with JBoss and Websphere o Experience in RAD and any other eclipse related product is a plus Flex Development Skills . In depth "hands on" experience and knowledge of Adobe Flex on Adobe Flash Builder or Eclipse . "Hands on" experience and knowledge of Adobe LiveCycle is a plus . "Hands on" experience and knowledge of developing reports using Crystal Report 2008 or XI is a plus . Ability to program rich user interface and interactions with Adobe LiveCycle and Web Services . Ability to integrate with enterprise security environments . Ability to communicate clearly with project management . Keeping abreast with latest development in Adobe Flex and Adobe LiveCycle technologies General . Ability to communicate clearly with project management . Ability to pick up new technology like Crystal Reports - prior experience is a plus Experience: . Prior experience with implementing enterprise solutions that involve system interfaces and batch programs (4 years preferred) . Experience in large, complex systems integration efforts in a software development role (2 years preferred) . Technical writing . Prior experience with developing solutions based on Adobe Flex/Flash Builder (4 years preferred) . Prior experience with developing solutions based on Adobe LiveCycle is a plus (2 years preferred) . Experience in building User Interfaces for large, complex systems integration efforts in a programming role (2 years preferred) .
