Heather Rommens <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|INVALID |--- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED --- Comment #3 from Heather Rommens <[email protected]> --- Reopening this bug per a conversation with Kyle. The transfer request message should be modified to actually trigger the transfer of the item, which could then be confirmed by staff prior to printing the transfer slip. Currently, if an item in a rotating collection is checked in at a library other than the one designated as the Current Library in the rotating collections tool, the transfer message appears and a slip can be printed, but the item must be manually transferred to the Current Library set in the tool. This can be done using the Transfer function in the Circulation module, but is not an intuitive process. To Test: 1. In Tools > Rotating Collections 2. Create a new collection and add an item to it 3. Transfer the collection using the Transfer feature within the tool (this puts the items into transit pending status) 4. Check the item in to trigger the initial transfer and confirm (item now in transit) 5. Change logged in library to the Current Library designated in the tool, and check the item in to receive it. 6. Change logged in library to any library other than the Current Library designated in the rotating collections tool. 7. Check the item in and notice a transfer request message appears with the option to print a slip. 8. Navigate to the holdings table for the item and notice the item is not in transit (available status) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
