--- Comment #12 from cgresser <[email protected]> --- Sorry not to be clear. In the end I don't mind whether the "Advanced editor" had (as the "Basic Editor") a "Link authorities automatically" - that's the function provided by Koha, but only via the "Basic Editor", or whether it would even give a line by line check, i.e. the cursor is on a, say, 1xx, 6xx or 7xx line, and you can hit a key, and Koha checks this heading for a possible authority, and then adds it. Any improve from within the "Advanced Editor" would be great, as cataloguing in the "Advanced Editor" always means that at some point the cataloguer needs to switch to "Basic editor", and even if you have saved the record a warning pop-up comes up "Any changes will not be saved. Continue?", then click on "Link authorities automatically" in "Basic Editor", then potentially deal with problems like "More authorities are matching..." So in the end: any improvement to allow authorities to be checked, automatically matched/updated from the "Advanced Editor" would be more efficient, and less cumbersome for a professional cataloguer doing their work. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
