>From what I've seen, the thing you'll notice the most is that IE's CSS
rendering is pretty different from everyone else. That may create
issues which are a problem or it may not. We have tried to correct
JavaScript problems with Internet Explorer whenever we find them, but
it's likely you'll find more.

As for over-committing, I think this depends partly on how much they
want Koha on IE7 to look exactly like Koha on Firefox or Chrome.

I'll happily test and sign off on patches to address IE7 compatibility fixes.
