Can someone confirm that bug 20461 doesn't prevent to create
subscriptions that will create items with invalid itypes?

If so, then we could ignore previousitemtype when it's invalid.
To not corrupt items when has been forgotten or to handle the existing
data which didn't had a previousitemtype due to bug 20461.
For some reason I'm very confused by this issue and have a very varying
understanding of it. That's why it seems wiser to ask for a confirmation
before preparing a follow up :)
