Hi Chris, Take a look at our wiki page to install Koha on debian using packages: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_Debian All what you need to know is on this page. I have installed Koha on Debian Stretch using this method last week.
I did not add Debian 9 in the "known systems" list as I did not use this instance in production. Could someone confirm it run smoothly on a production server?
