I'm sorry, I was wrong.
The record is missing from the search results.
But if you use a direct link, for example,
/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=12345 the record is displayed.
There are no default pages in "HTML customizations" for OpacSuppressionRedirect.
OpacSuppression: Hide
OpacSuppressionRedirect:
Redirect the opac detail page for suppressed records to
an explanatory page ('This record is blocked').
A custom message can be shown on the redirect page for suppressed bibliographic
records by creating an HTML customization in the OpacSuppressionMessage region.
The file name for OpacSuppressionRedirect?

I am not sure what could have gone wrong.
Did you check that the .xsl was generated with the intended change?
Is the system preference OpacSupression active?
Does the record turn up, if you search for Suppress:1 in the staff interface?
