anti-imperialist information. This past week, I received a post from you
(through Prime, to which I s u b s c r b e - KOMINFORM note: this word
causes BOUNCING) ) vilifying the hypocrisy of those who
disavow Austria's fascist party while accepting the social democracy that is
strangling Europe and the rest of the world. Could you kindly send that post
to me again? I sent it out, but do not have it saved. Thank you comrades.

The European Parliament must give an answer:
WHY DO THOSE WHO OPPOSE FASCISM IN AUSTRIA SUPPORT FASCISM IN TURKEY?
The governments of European Parliament member states say "No to Nazis!"
because the racist and fascist Freedom Party will share power in Austria!
Do you really mean to say "No to Nazis"? Are you against fascism? If so, we
have a right to ask these questions.
ARE RACISM AND FASCISM ONLY TO BE FOUND IN AUSTRIA? Look around you, above
all look at Germany: all around you there is racism, xenophobia, people of
different nationalities are treated as second-class citizens, freedom of
thought is denied. Your governments are hand in glove with fascist regimes.
You have stood by and watched these things happen!
WHY THIS DOUBLE STANDARD? WHY IS A RACIST PARTY CONSIDERED A "DANGER" IN
AUSTRIA, BUT NOT IN TURKEY?
Look at the power in Turkey which you accepted as a "candidate country" for
European Union membership not long ago.
You know perfectly well that one of the parties in government in Turkey is
the MHP (Nationalist Movement Party). It is impossible that you do not know
of the Hitler fan, "Commander-in-Chief" Turkes [MHP leader for decades,
died in 1997].
That party has committed thousands of crimes to win power. It has killed
both young and old.
Is the MHP less racist than the Austrian Freedom Party? Is it less fascist?
You feel concern about what the Freedom Party "will do" to foreigners! What
about the things the MHP actually "did"? Maras and Bahcelievler were the
scenes of their mass killings. But you showed no concern then. You just
ignored them.
YOU SUPPORT FASCISM IN TURKEY, YOU SUPPORT A RACIST PARTY IN TURKEY BECAUSE:
This racist and fascist party does your work in the Balkans and the Caucasus.
Besides the USA, German imperialism supports fascism in Turkey as a way of
extending to the Caucasus and the Balkans. When opening up new markets is
the matter under consideration, imperialism sees neither racism nor
fascism.
As long as these imperialist policies are being continued, of course there
will not be real opposition to fascism or racism, and even in books the
Nazis are only condemned in a half-hearted way. Neo-Nazi organisations have
found it possible to survive. As long as these policies are continued,
Nazism will always be a danger staring Europe in the face!
IF YOU ARE AGAINST RACISM AND FASCISM AND ON THE SIDE OF DEMOCRACY, SHOW AN
ATTITUDE TOWARDS FASCISM IN TURKEY!
Our country has been a lake of blood for thirty years. You see how houses
and districts were turned into Nazi concentration camps. Who did these
things? Who caused these things to be done? Everybody knows that Hizbullah
is a contra organisation supported by the state. You are not uninformed
about details of disappearances and massacres, except those that have not
come to light. While our people were being killed with the most savage
methods, European imperialism was the main supporter of these murderous
regimes.
THOSE WHO DID NOT SETTLE ACCOUNTS WITH HITLER'S FASCISM, WHICH SPILLED THE
BLOOD OF TENS OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, CANNOT OPPOSE NAZISM AND FASCISM TODAY
EITHER Yesterday, Austria collaborated with the Nazis. Why? For profit. All
right. Isn't Germany doing the same thing today? Whenever it is in their
interests, the imperialists become the defenders of human rights, or
defenders of Nazism!
Racism, fascism and Nazism have never been independent from imperialism.
For this reason, those who never oppose imperialist policies, cannot oppose
fascism and Nazism.
A racist, fascist party coming to power will cast a shadow over the fairy
tales of "European democracy", therefore it is not suitable for the policy
of expanding the European Union, in actual fact Germany. This is why there
are objections in the European Parliament. Germany is the stronghold of
fascism, racism and xenophobia in Europe. Germany has neither settled
accounts with its Nazi past, nor has it taken serious precautions against
the racism of today. The peoples of Europe should show the courage needed
to settle accounts with the past and with their current governments. Since
this account has not been settled, and since imperialist interests are
dominant, the Nazis, fascists and racists will continue to grow in
strength.
IF YOU ARE NOT HYPOCRITICAL,
IF YOU ARE NOT USING DEMOCRACY TO FURTHER YOUR OWN INTERESTS, BREAK OFF
RELATIONS WITH FASCISM IN POWER! Today in Turkey you also support fascism
rather than those who struggle for democracy, equality and justice. Fascism
in Turkey gets the bombs, weapons and technology it kills with from you.
Like the fascist authorities, you call the struggle in Turkey "terror", you
declare it to be "criminal".
Who is the terrorist? Fascism and terror are the same thing. When fascism
in Turkey is mentioned, state terror, the MHP and the contra-guerrillas
come to mind.
Those who do not oppose fascism in Turkey are supporting terror, the racist
fascist MHP and the contra-guerrillas.
