Major Industrial Works Completed
Major national industrial works were completed on May 21 ready for
operation.
These included the first generator unit of the Yaly hydroelectric
power plant, which started to generate electricity to transmit to the
national grid. Generators at Song Hinh were operating well.
Installation work on the 1.5 kilometres fuel transportation lines
between the Phu My Thermal Power Plant and the Thi Vai port was completed.
Construction work on the spillway of the Ham Thuan Hydroelectric Power
plant was also completed with more than 52,000 cubic metres of concrete
filled.
LILAMA also completed the installation of 4,000 tonnes of equipment
at the Hoang Mai cement plant, which has a capacity of 1.4 million tonnes
per year.
