In 1939 the Imperial Powers were split into
2 enormous camps - each vying for world
dominance - the Axis Powers and the Allies.

Russia decided to ally with the Allies.

Today we see NATO split into 2 large camps
- the European Union and the North Atlantic
Free Trade Association.

Where does the Shanghai Forum stand in
all of this?

Is the Shanghai Forum the 'Russia' of today?

Will the Shanghai Forum allign with the EU -
or with NAFTA?...

Subject: [MLL]The Trend Unfolds

THE TREND UNFOLDS

The evolution of world capitalism since WWII has jelled to the point
that a trend is forming. Less than 10%of the world capitalist powers,
which primarily includes the Western Hemisphere north of the Rio Grande,
Western Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and some isolated
enclaves in southern Asia, are systematically and methodically draining
the resources and exploiting the wealth of the overwhelming majority of
mankind comprising 90% of the world's population. As time has
progressed, however, it is becoming increasingly evident that there is
an exploitive arrangement within the top 10% as well, in which the
corporations and financial institutions of the United States are
systematically defeating those of Western Europe, Japan etc,. resulting
in a incessant drain of wealth and investments into the United States.
This, in turn, accounts for the constant rise in the American stock
market, the very low American unemployment, the high rate of worker
productivity, the high rate of profits, and the flow of intellectual
talent and skilled personnel toward the United States from the
underdeveloped exploited nations and its more affluent "allies." In
effect, the wealth of the world is slowing flowing toward the United
States and wealth differentials throughout the planet are surpassing
horrendous levels.
Whenever differentials in wealth grow, differentials in ideology
inevitably follow and the world scene is no exception. One need only
note the degree to which the United States has become more and more
isolated in UN votes, for example. It increasingly finds itself in
opposition to virtually the entire world on issue after issue. Votes of
150 or 160 to 1 or 2 are not uncommon. There is no nation upon whom the
phrase "rogue state" is more applicable than the United States, even
though it tries mightily to project that phrase onto others. Feeling
that it has the wealth and military power to oppose world opinion, the
United States has not hesitated to flex its muscle when the need is
felt.
To say that this trend is a prescription for conflict and can't
continue indefinitely is to utter the obvious. As years pass those
within the top 10% are going to increasingly come to the realization
that their interests, too, and those of the United States are in
opposition.
Lenin's oft repeated statement that "one capitalist always kills many"
is applicable not only to capitalists within nations but between nations
as well.

For the cause,

Klo
