A major hunger strike started today in the prisons of Turkey as DHKP-C and TKP(ML) captives took their fight against isolation prisons a stage further. Of course, Turkey is not the only country in the world where attempts are being made to isolate political prisoners. We are using this opportunity to greet you and let you know that it is the "black hole" of Soto which is swallowing our letters and our messages. In order to prevent us from reaching you to share our worries and our struggle, rage and hope, barricades and plans. It is a "subtle" way of isolating us, of burying our voices and it is meant to distance us from the brutal reality which our people have to put up with and confront, for it is known that this is a fundamental part of our life as militants, of our struggle, and one which we will never renounce. >From here, we are calling upon you to fight against this hole of isolation where communication does not reach. We are calling upon you to break the wall of silence designed to impede and destroy our organised life and our right to struggle, side by side with our class and our people.
