We thank the ILC for their solidarity message. We would also like to take
the opportunity of mentioning the congress on the problems in Turkey's
prisons, to take place in Istanbul on November 10-12, and we know that
TAYAD, the prisoners' support group who are organising the congress, would
welcome the participation of revolutionaries, democrats and progressives
from Europe, North America and the world generally.
There is a small correction to make to the message below. The organisations
taking part in the Indefinite or Unlimited Hunger Strike are the DHKP-C, the
TKP(ML) and the TKIP. This last party's abbreviation stands for "Communist
Workers' Party of Turkey". The TIKB (Union of Revolutionary Communists of
Turkey) is not participating in the hunger strike, at least not at present.
