(Forwarded) THREE STATEMENTS FROM REPUBLICAN SINN FEIN. =========================================== RSF CALLS FOR END TO SLAUGHTER IN PALESTINE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Republican Sinn Fin, Belfast demands the immediate end to the slaughter of innocent Palestinian men, women and children by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. We are now witness to a failed peace process that did not deliver or could not deliver real peace because it never was going to deliver on self-determination and freedom to the Palestinian people. The bloody Israeli war machine will not break the will of the Palestinian people to be free. It will in fact strengthen the will of the Palestinian people to be free. Republican Sinn Fin stands shoulder to shoulder with the Palestinian people in their struggle to be free from Israeli oppression. We do not believe that a public inquiry with the end aim of naming individuals would alleviate the concerns and fears of the people in Republican/Nationalist areas, we believe a public inquiry would raise tensions and would lead without a doubt to more killings. It is our view that a community inquiry with the aim of naming the organisation responsible for the killing Mr O'Connor is the only way to alleviate community fears. The Provisional IRA have been blamed for the killing of Mr O'Connor, but have denied any involvement. Mr Gerry Adams of Provisional Sinn Fin has also stated he does not believe the Provisional IRA were involved in the killing of Mr O'Connor. West Belfast is in fact the constituency of Mr Adams, if he does believe as stated that the Provisional IRA were not involved in the killing of one of his constituents he then believes that another group or organisation is responsible for doing so. Surely the onus is on those representatives such as Mr Adams to uncover the group or organisation responsible for Mr O'Connor 's killing. Why has there been no call from these representatives for an inquiry? Surely a community inquiry as stated above would be of benefit to everyone in the Republican/Nationalist community. Only by a community inquiry will the truth be told. Their commitments to do so are in clear violation of their own regulations, ie General Order No.11, which classify such action as "treachery" punishable by "death". (see The Long War by Brendan O'Brien.) Many of their followers now realise just where the constitutional road they started out on in 1986 has led them. It has turned out to be a classic counter-revolution at the behest of the British in that they have now embarked on the assassination of those who take a stand against them. The Provos not only administer British rule but also enforce it at gunpoint.
