Dear all,

Take note that tommorrow Thurday January 11th, Madame Louise Arbour former
chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former
Yugoslavia will be speaking at UofT (the details of this engagement are
listed below). For those of you wishing to attend this event and question
the ICTY's biased nature, its refusal to try NATO leaders, and its
collaboration in the colonial administration of Bosnia and Kosovo (ex. see
the excellent research of David Chandler from Leads University on
post-conflict institution building if you want to understand the extent of
outside rule), etc. please have questions prepared in advance and make sure
to grab seats near the mikes in order to get a chance to speak-up.

The ICTY is an organization payed for by NATO countries, it depends on NATO
as its police force, and it is used in order to forward the Western agenda
in
the region. Furthermore, this tribunal is ad-hoc in nature and is under the
full political and financial control of the major powers as opposed to the
International Criminal Court (the Rome Process) which the USA has rejected
in
favor of these other type of highly controlled courts. BTW Arbour is a big
fan of Madeleine Albrights who is one of the architects of the Dual
Containment Policy in the Mid-East targeted against Iran and Iraq and which
has lead to the genocidal sanctions on the Iraqi people and the individual
principally responsible for NATO's criminal aggression against Yugoslavia.
Obviously Arbour's definition of human-rights is extremely limited and there
is PLENTY of room to challenge her neoliberal agenda!

cheers!
Kole
