"The struggle against NATO is a struggle for life "
Massive demonstrations took place yesterday, January 11 in Athens,
Thessalonika and other cities of Greece .
Thousands of protesters gathered together in Athens, Thessalonika, Patra,
Serres, Chio, Verioia etc. and marched to protest against the crimes made by
the American - European murderers of NATO and their local servants. In
Athens, the protesters march by the greek parliament and the offices of the
European Union and ended infront of the Embassy of the USA. In Thessalonika,
after various cultural activities, the protesters marched through the city,
to the port where the NATO murderers camp and ended up at the building of
the Stability Pact.
The protesters gathered together in the afternoon. They were thousands
again. Like then when they protested against the war inYugoslavia. Young
people and older. Trade unionists, workers, members of the peace movement,
students, lawers for peace, pensioneers, clergymen, mothers with
their children, greek students that study in Yugoslavia. In Athens a
delegation of soldiers dressed in uniform took also part in the
demonstration. They all united and
shouted: «murderers of people - Americans», «NATO out of the Balkans», «In
Kosovo they die from leukemia, we won't fight for USA - Germany», «The greek
soldiers are not for sacrifice, bring them back from Yugoslavia». They
demanded that the greek soldiers should be withdrawed from Yugoslavia.
