After case of HADEP members who have been missing in Silopi, now Yusuf
Kirmizioglu and Zulfu Hakki Alp are missing in Istanbul, and Erdal Aydin,
18 years old, and his brother S.  Aydin, 15 years old, are missing in
Mardin.

HADEP Silopi Town Chairman Serdar Tanis and HADEP town secretary Ebubekir
Deniz have been missing since they were taken to the local security
gendarme directorate for questioning.  Now, missing person cases are again
on rise.  Yusuf Kirmizioglu who was born in Hatay province in 1974 left
Izmir for Istanbul on January 5th at 10  p.m.  2001 with bus.  He arrived
Istanbul next morning at 7 a.m.  Then, he called a friend of his at 11:45
a.m.  and no one have heard from him ever since.  Kirmizioglu was wanted by
police and it was reported that he carried a false identity card in the
name of Aziz Gungor in order to void police.  People's Law Office lawyer
Behic Asci applied the Interior Ministry and Prison General Secretary for
information about Kirmizioglu.

Another missing case in Gazi district of Istanbul In the mean time, Zulfu
Hakki Alp, 19, who left his house in the Gazi district of Istanbul on
January 5th at 8:00  a.m.  for his job at a hotel in Aksaray district of
Istanbul, have been missing ever since.  Alp was born in Kurdish city of
Dersim.  Senol Alp applied Istanbul branch of IHD ( Human Rights
Association) and said that his brother might be taken by police and he was
concerned that his brother might be disappeared.

Concern for missing cases in Mardin

Two brothers are missing in Mardin and one person is missing in Kiziltepe
disctrict of Mardin.  Abdulkadir Aydin who live in Gul district of Mardin
applied to the Amed (Diyarbakir) Saraykapi Police Station and said his sons
Erdal, 18 and S.  , 15, left the house a week earlier for playing soccer
but they have not returned.  On the other hand, Ali Solhan applied
prosecutor's office in Mardin's Kiziltepe district and he said that his
son, Faruk Solhan, 26, left home 4 days ago to drop a relative in Amed but
have not returned.
