A new case of DU(?) in Greece

A lot of questions have been raised, while the Greek people are worried,
as more and more facts are being known through the media about the
radiactive and toxic crimes in Greece. More than 10 people who worked at
military factories which repair arms in Larisa and Velestino (Central
Greece) have lost their lives the last few years from different forms of
cancer and most oftenly from leukemia. Suspicions araise, while the
possibility that arms and vehicles which are being repaired there might
contained uranium or another ratioactive material, since they where used
at the NATO war against Yugoslavia.

Reports from workers from these factories shows that even today there
are some different blood problems.

The responsible authorities, as expected, support that all these
information are not right and that there is no danger and no problem.

What we would like to point out is that the workers which work in such
an environment are anyway affected in someway, since in order to repair
these kind of arms they use dangerous toxic materials. It is also
important to state that until a few years ago, the tires of these arms
and vehicles were burt, resulting into poluting the environment, and of
course, the people close by.

In addition, as it has be revealed (14/2) by the newspaper «Rizospastis»
that 20 boxes with the sign of radiation which contain CO - 60 and CS -
137 where found a few days ago, accidentely by guards in Mantoudi,
island of Eubea.
