Although these Western puppets in Belgrade claim that their move has nothing to do with the request of extradition by the so-called �Hague war crimes tribunal� nor with the US blackmailing to fulfil it, the direct connection is more than obvious: the attack on Milosevic was carried out exactly on the date of expiring of the US ultimatum on March 31! 2 The imperialist campaign against Milosevic has as its main purpose the legitimating of the NATO aggression against Yugoslavia and the de-legitimation of any resistance against the imperialist tyranny of the New World Order. The tribunal in the Hague is nothing else than a modern blueprint of medieval inquisition. Everything is faked. The murderer is acting as judge and prosecutor at the same time providing also the money for the spectacle. The judgement has already be fixed in advance. The victims is not even allowed to accuse the murderer. It is a political trial and media show suppressing any critical thought let alone diverging opinions. It is the production of a play there the masters of the corporate neo-liberal thought present themselves as the only democrats accusing those few who still dare to oppose them as totalitarian. Reality is about to surpass the wildest imaginations of George Orwell. The international movement for war crime tribunals against NATO, in which the ILC actively participated, has submitted its investigations to the Hague. This �independent tribunal� did not even consider to start an pre-investigation into the case and simply turned down any attempt to judge the NATO crimes. This should reveal is character for everybody. The Hague tribunal has no legitimacy what so ever. 3 The new pro-imperialist regime in Belgrade claims to perform a trial against Milosevic on the ground of �corruption� and �abuse of power�. This is a concession to the Serb public opinion that is still opposed to the revenge justice of NATO of which Djindjic-Kostunica is an instrument. As they fear to appear as such they have to cover up their servile attempts to secure the Judas money from the US. Djindjic-Kostunica have no right and legitimacy to trial Milosevic on the above accusations as they are the forerunners of a system that is built on corruption and abuse of power, namely capitalism � with the slight difference that it will be propagated and legalised under the name of �market economy� and �Western democracy�! 4 For the imperialists and its puppets Milosevic�s crime is simply the resistance against their ten years aggression against Yugoslavia. And exactly for this brave �crime� we defend him against the real war criminals of NATO! However, he has indeed committed terrible and unpardonable mistakes against the interests of the popular masses of Yugoslavia and all those forces fighting the imperialist tyranny all around the world: · The corruption of his ruling clique has alienated the popular masses from the resistance against NATO and eventually resulted in the fall of his regime. · Milosevic tried several times to compromise with imperialism (for example Dayton) although an active political and military defence of the Yugoslav and Serb interests against imperialism and it�s local agents in Slavonia, Srpska Krajina and Bosnia would have been perfectly possible and yielded results. · Although Yugoslavia was much more democratic than any Western puppet regime Milosevic�s clique eventually usurped power when he was progressively loosing popular backing. He should have orderly withdrawn in time reviving the popular character of the anti-imperialist mass movement inextricably linking the national defence to the struggle for social justice and equality. Any attempt to develop popular democracy from below, organs of the struggle of the workers, peasants and soldiers was miserably lacking. · While is was completely necessary to fight the reactionary nationalist attempts of former Yugoslav republics and autonomous provinces instigated by imperialism to destroy Yugoslavia and to restore capitalism, it was both wrong to counterpoise Serb nationalism to Yugoslavism (as it was done mainly in the first half of the 90ies) and to refrain from offering a hand and actively supporting those forces in the reactionary nationalities who opposed their leaderships in favour of a settlement of the national conflicts in the frame of Yugoslavia. · The co-operation and support to the international movement against the NATO aggression led by the anti-imperialist forces was always completely subordinated to diplomatic manoeuvring. Although it is clear that diplomatic attempts to split NATO and to find allies were necessary, nevertheless in the final instance the popular anti-imperialist movement is the only force able to defeat imperialism. 5 We wonder why no mass resistance of SPS against the reactionary attacks of Djindjic-Kostunica has been mounted so far? In case the current impression is proved it would show how much harm the SPS-JUL leadership has done to the popular movement against the imperialist aggression. It points at the urgent necessity to build an independent democratic, popular and anti-imperialist movement of workers, peasants and soldiers led by a genuine revolutionary communist party consequently striving for: Immediate release of Sloboban Milosevic! Dissolve the ridiculous caricature of the �war crimes tribunal� in Hague! For a international popular tribunal against the NATO war criminals! NATO out of Yugoslavia and the entire Balkans! Down with the imperialist puppet regime of Djindjic-Kostunica! For a new Yugoslavia in the frame of a democratic, popular and anti-imperialist Balkan federation!
