In April 2001 the ninth national party conference of Communist Party of Vietnam was attended as invited guests by Communist Party of China, Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Communist Party of Cuba, Workers� Party of Korea and Cambodian People�s Party. These parties have real direct power. The parties are vital and their cadres and activities have strongly increased. This is a fact which the mainstream media tries to deny. Also in capitalist circumstances communism makes progress. Prestige of communist parties especially in big capitalist countries has grown. Good examples are parties in Canada, India and Australia.
