KATHMANDU, May 9- The government and representatives of All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU)- Revolutionary are meeting to resolve a possible crisis in the education sector if they carry out their threat to close private boarding schools from May 14. ANNFSU-R is demanding a reduction in fees in boarding schools, failing which, they have threatened unspecified actions against them. On Tuesday, members of ANNFSU-R attacked and vandalized two schools in Kathmandu valley. The meeting is taking place at the Ministry of Education and is being attended by Education Secretary and other high-ranking government officials. Details of the meeting have not been made public. Meanwhile, association of private boarding schools, in a statement issued Wednesday, has condemned yesterday's attacks on two schools by the Maoists aligned student group.
