Chief of Staff General Czeslaw Piatas said he foresaw no problems to stationing radars or intercept missile launchers in Poland, but noted the final decision rested with the government, he told PAP in Brussels. "There is no doubt that we need to think about anti-missile defenses and build such a system," said Piatas, who was in Brussels for a NATO military committee meeting. Polish officials expressed satisfaction after a top U.S. delegation visited Warsaw last week to explain Washington's plans to develop limited anti-missile defenses indicated that interested allies would be covered by the shield.
