Claiming that the bill did not address their needs, KESK members will participate in a meeting in Ankara's Kizilay square after their five-day march. Criticizing the government for its policies Evren said: "The political administration continues to oppress the people and laborers with its policies. This law reflects the demand not of public employees but of a certain party and fake labor unions which are its pawns. We want to have humane lives, whereas they want to appoint their supporters to positions. We want a a law that will include collective labor agreements, which allows for strikes, is liberal and democratic. If the draft law is not rescinded, we will continue to demonstrate to indicate our democratic demands." Slogans of "No to the fake labor union law," "Let the prohibitive labor union withdraw" and "No to the state controlled labor union" were heard during the meeting. After Evren's speech, public employees and party members that supported them started to march. Ridvan Budak, Ufuk Uras, Suleyman Celebi and Sami Evren stood in front of the cortege for some time to indicate support.
