Because of the irresponsibility, incompetence and criminal activities of the people in charge of the military institutions. In the name of the supreme interest of this nation. In order to protect this country, threatened by an imminent danger to its institutions, its sovereignty and its territorial integrity. In order to preserve the achievements and conquests of the Algerian State and to protect its citizens. In accordance with the articles: from 6 to 14, 21, 22, and 24 of the Constitution of the Republic. In accordance to the following articles of military law: Art 284, section 4, relating to military conspiracy, Art. 279-1st and 2nd relating to crimes of high treason, Art. 285 relating to usurpation of command, Art. 290 section 2 and 3 relating to destruction with subsequent death of men, Art. 319 section 2 relating to abuse of authority, Art. 325 relating to failure to accomplishment of mission in times of war. In accordance with the articles of the penal law: Art. 61-1st, 62-4th, y 63-1st relating to high treason crimes and attack State security. Art. 71-1st ; 2nd ; 3rd and 72-2nd relating to damage to the national defence. Art. 77, 81 and 82 relating to attacks to territorial integrity. Art. 84 and 86 relating to criminal activities, massacres and massive destruction. Art. 90 for crimes committed and preparation for insurrection. The Council for Change and Reform of the Algerian Movement of Free Officers declares the following generals: Mohamed Lamari Mohamed Mediene llamado Toufik Smain Lamari Fodhil Cherif Brahim Mohamed Touati Kamel Abdelrahmane Said Bey Mohamed Gaid Salah Khaled Nezar Larbi Belkhier Mohamed Baaziz Abdel-Aziz Medjahed Ahmed Boustila Mohamed Benslimani They are declared guilty of these crimes according to the articles cited above; the main charge being: high treason, and therefore they are considered: enemies of this nation. Subsequently they must be dismissed and retired from the command of Popular National Army. In accordance with articles 24, 25, 35 and 36 relating to the PNA officers� and subofficers� duties and obligations, it is the duty of every officer and subofficer to actively cooperate in this mission for the sake of national interest. Any person, whether civil or military, who opposes to the application of this law will be accordingly prosecuted. May our martyrs rest in glory and long live Algeria.
