Subject: Fw: KLA To Defy NATO's Peace Plan Charade

According to the so called "peace agreement" that has been signed,, NATO
will now occupy Macedonia with 3500+ troops and will supposedly "disarm"
the KLA/NLA. Yeah right! Just like NATO "disarmed" the KLA, after they
occupied Kosovo! Remember that lie? It was this "disarmed and demilitarized"
KLA (to use NATO's terms) that infiltrated and attacked Macedonia, from
Kosovo!

 The Daily Telegraph
 August 14, 2001

"This agreement means nothing. There will be war. It's
the West's fault for giving the Albanians control of
 Kosovo."
And compare "We are fighting for rights - not
territory" with "After days of fighting most of Tetovo
is under rebel control" and see if the first quote can
 be reconciled with the second.

We will not disappear, Albanian rebels say
 By Julius Strauss in Tetovo
 (Filed: 14/08/2001)

IN the battle-scarred streets of Macedonia's second
city, Tetovo - the front line of the latest Balkan war
 - there was little optimism yesterday about the peace
 deal.

A band of ethnic Albanian guerrillas stood guard and
the mood was grim. After days of fighting, most of
 Tetovo is under rebel control.

Xhevat Ademi, a local commander, said: "We support the
deal because it gives peace a chance. But the extent
of the changes proposed does not come near the extent
of our grievances. Problems will start again because
the cause of the wound has not been treated."

Murat Sulejmani, a guerrilla aged 27, said: "We are
fighting for rights - not territory. They want us to
 disappear but we won't."

The mood of the Slav majority was little better.
Fearful of popular anger, the government barely
mentioned the accord in the official media. The idea
of making concessions to the Albanians is deeply
 unpopular.

Nikola, a taxi driver, said: "This agreement means
nothing. There will be war. It's the West's fault for
giving the Albanians control of [neighbouring]
 Kosovo."
