AIAIF CONDEMNS ASSASSINATION OF ABU ALI JAMAL All India Anti-imperialist Forum expresses its deep concern at and strongest condemnation of the dastardly killing of Mustafa Zibri, widely known as Abu Ali Mustafa on August 27, 2001 in an Israeli missile attack, while he was at his desk in his office in Ramallah on Palestine territory. The way this heinous murder of this veteran PLO leader, who was the General Secretary of the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine as also the most senior among the leaders killed in the latest eleven months old Al Aqsa Intifada, was carried out using US supplied missiles fired from a similarly acquired Apache helicopter, speaks clearly of the barbarous state-sponsored terrorism by the Israeli Government as a part of their plan to escalate the war onto the Palestinian territory, with direct and material supports from the US imperialism. The Forum expresses our deepest sympathy for the comrades and family of this important leader of the Palestinian people. We feel it will be a great loss in their just struggle for liberation of Palestine. But we are sure that the Palestinian people will overcome the grief, rise up to the occasion and continue their struggle with renewed determination and vigour. We further register our fraternity to them and their struggle, joining hands with freedom and peace-loving people of the world. We demand the Zionist Israel backed by the US imperialism, stop all acts of aggression and killing and take their hands off Palestine.
