"The military Turkish state is employing all forms of the repressive measures at their disposal to annihilate this revolutionary struggle. So we must employ clear, decisive, solidarity actions in order to change this ongoing massacre, such as today's call made from the platform, that the 26 County administration must immediately expel Turkey's representative in Ireland and for an increased campaign until the political prisoners in Turkey have fully achieved their demands." Addressing the rally which had Turkey hunger striker representative committees from across Ireland in attendance, Mr Devine said "Let no Irish republican or socialist stand idly by whilst there is still a continuing death fast in Turkey. The working class people of Ireland are with you!"
