Never Let Imperialist America Make
Warmongering
in the Name of 'Defence of Freedom and
Civilization'!
Stop US Aggression against Afghanistan and Iraq!
A
world-shaking event broke out on 11 September. Two 'hijacked' civilian airliners
(Boeing 767) en route from Boston slammed into the twin towers of the World
Trade Center in New York City at 8:45 and 9:03 a.m. in succession (Eastern
Time), bursting into fires together with the buildings. The two 110-story towers
collapsed into pieces around an hour later. Moreover, at 9:45 a.m. a similarly
'hijacked' passenger plane (Boeing 757) from Washington Dulles Airport hit the
Pentagon building of the Department of Defense outside of Washington, plunging
the US Military Headquarters into flames. This "jihad,
holly war", probably carried out by, immediately, a guerrilla group for Islamic
resurrection, struck the economic and military hubs of imperialist America with
perfect finesse and broke down the both at once, the financial / trading centre
as the heart of the US-led global economy and the pivot of its military
dominance over the world. Since the collapse of the USSR, American imperialism
had boasted itself to be the 'sole superpower of the world'. It had committed
numerous atrocities including aggressive wars that burned Iraq and Yugoslavia in
flames. Recently again, this 'world biggest rogue state' openly supported the
Sharon government in Israel, which had perpetrated genocidal acts to eliminate
the Palestinian state; and, behind this, it had been scheming to launch another
warmongering (a fifth Middle East War). Precisely to forestall the scheme, the
"jihad" was carried out; it struck imperialist America to the heart. This
incident is, with no doubt, an epoch-making event that means a success in an
irrevocable challenge of Islamic resurrectionism against imperialist America's
scheme for world domination. Precisely for
this reason, the Bush administration and its followers have been confused into
panic. They are screaming in response: a 'retaliatory war' for 'eliminating
barbaric indiscriminate terrorism' or eradicative battles that 'will make no
distinction between the terrorists who committed the acts and those who harbor
them'. As calling it 'defence of the free world and civilization', they are
about to launch a military attack, a war of aggression, against Osama bin
Laden's group and their host, Taliban's Afghanistan, and now against Iraq led by
Saddam Hussein. We must say however. Who was the perpetrator of indiscriminate
bombings in Yugoslavia and Iraq? Who did those atrocities even by using depleted
uranium munitions? Who is backing up the Zionist government in Israel? Who
supports this government that has demolished even the 'self-government in jail'
(establishment of a provisional Palestinian government) based on the Oslo
Agreement in 1993 and repeated genocidal barbarities against the Palestinian
people? They condemn
the event as 'indiscriminate terrorism against the free world and civilization'.
This condemnation is, however, for entirely covering up America's own crimes of
warmongering and for justifying their scheme of genocide against Islamic
resurrectionist forces; it is, as such, a self-revelation of their monstrous
arrogance. That's an instance of evildoers' audacity. We will say any number of
times. It is imperialist America itself headed by warmonger George W. Bush, a
steamroller of unilateralism, that has sowed the seeds of hates, grudge and all
the anti-American sentiments among people of the Islamic world in the Middle
East and over the world. It is not vice versa definitely. Imperialist America
has made warmongerings in various areas in the world, assuming itself the
'international police officer'; it has also trampled countries of the world
under its financial and economic rule by promoting the American globalization.
These tyrannies are the root cause and nothing
else. Workers and
students! Brothers and sisters over the world suffering from exploitation and
expropriation by US imperialism! We appeal to
you again. Even though it was carried out by Osama bin Laden and a guerrilla
group from Islamic resurrectionist forces who support and lead him, and though
their way of anti-American "jihad" has in itself a characteristic against the
working people, this self-sacrificing operation of martyrdom that has struck US
imperialism to the pivot of its economic and military rule against the world is
precisely a 'challenge' for breaking down the tyranny of American imperialism in
its 'sole domination' over the world; it is, in this sense, an epoch-making act.
As a matter of course, we reject terrorism in principle on the basis of the
great cause of proletarian liberation struggle. For all that we say so because
the source of the event lies in imperialist America's history of aggressions and
barbarities, the history of aggressive wars that America has carried out with
extreme arrogance in Iraq, Palestine and other Middle East areas, in Yugoslavia,
and in Vietnam and Korea. Nevertheless
the official opposition leaderships in Japan, the Japanese Communist Party in
particular, are infected with those hallelujahs, poisonous imperialist
propaganda, for a massive military attack against Afghanistan, and now agaisnt
Iraq, to be launched by US imperialism in the name of 'retaliatory war' or 'war
to eradicate terrorism'. In fact, JCP Chairman Kazuo Shii has joined the
imperialist chorus by saying: "The JCP strongly impeaches the barbaric and nasty
simultaneous terror attacks" (their daily Akahata dated 13 September).
Comrades over
the world! Expose the
criminality of the official leadership degraded to a complement to the war of
aggression. Rise in struggles together with us to stop imperialist America and
its NATO allies from launching military attacks against Afghanistan and Iraq and
from escalating the war of aggression there. We call on the
toiling masses in our country. Smash all the schemes of the Koizumi government
to establish an emergency legislation or to revise the SDF Law for enabling it
to guard the US forces stationed in Japan. Never let the SDF troops join the
war! Let us fight
together against atrocities of warmongers and fascists of the
world! |
