In Kandahar, the attacks have killed 42 civilians since early on Wednesday, AIP quoted Education Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi as saying. While the attacks were less intense on Thursday, at least five people were killed early in the morning, AIP quoted Taliban spokesman Abdul Haye Mutmaen as saying. AIP said its reports showed that 10 people had been killed in the Qalaye Zaman Khan eastern suburb of Kabul.
