The DPRK will closely watch whether the U.S. will move to create an atmosphere of dialogue and build confidence or not and do what it should do, depending on it. ��� Rodong Sinmun today says this in a signed commentary. ��� It goes on: ��� Though the ruling quarters of the U.S. are repeatedly talking about an "unconditional dialogue" with the DPRK, they are persisting in the acts getting on its nerves. ��� The commentary cites instances to prove this. ��� The U.S. put the U.S. forces in South Korea on "high alert" under the pretext of "coping with an emergency" on the Korean peninsula and shipped task forces and equipment from its mainland into South Korea and deployed them in the forward areas, it says, and continues: ��� Bush made extremely provocative remarks against the DPRK, telling sheer lie as regards the issue of "resuming the dialogue." ��� Recently the U.S. hurled mud at the DPRK over the "religious issue," hurting its feelings. This attitude has nothing to do with the dialogue and only made problems more complicated. ��� If the U.S. has a true will to resume the dialogue with the DPRK, it should properly approach the dialogue and begin with creating an atmosphere favorable to it and building confidence. This is the most urgent task before the u.s. and a process to which it should give top priority. ��� The DPRK-U.S. dialogue can be resumed only if the U.S. changes its attitude toward the DPRK and takes practical measures to create this atmosphere and build confidence. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Preparatory committee formed in France ��� Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- A french preparatory committee to commemorate the Day of the Sun and February 16, the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il, in 2002 was inaugurated at a general meeting of the France-Korea Friendship Association on Nov. 6. Andre Aubry, president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the committee. ��� The preparatory committee discussed and decided on a plan for colorful political functions and solidarity activities on the occasion of the Day of the Sun and February 16 in 2002. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Proposal for founding DFRK supported in France ��� Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- A meeting, photo exhibition and film show took place in Banyo, France, on Oct. 25 under the sponsorship of the France-Korea Friendship Association on the occasion of the month of support to the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo (DFRK). Exhibited there were photos showing the greatness of leader Kim Jong Il's army-centered politics and photos on national reunification. ��� Andre Aubry, president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, in his report at the meeting said that the proposal for founding the DFRK advanced by President Kim Il Sung is the most realistic and reasonable proposal for the reunification of Korea. ��� Guy Dupre, secretary general of the International Liaison Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea, in his speech called on the members of the friendship association and all the progressive forces in France to conduct more positive activities for solidarity with the Korean people for the sake of friendship between the peoples of France and Korea and Korea's reunification. ��� The participants saw the photos on display and the Korean film "Concrete wall is symbolic of division and confrontation". ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Areas at foot of Mt. Paektu given face-lifting ��� Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- New modern streets and villages have appeared at the foot of Mt. Paektu in Korea. Dwelling houses for at least 2,100 families, over 100 public buildings such as schools, people's hospitals and shops have been built in the areas of Samjiyon, Rimyongsu, Phothae and Mubong, changing their appearance beyond recognition. ��� Samjiyon township, the seat of Samjiyon county, has been given radical face-lifting. ��� An avenue stretches to south Phothae from the base of Pegae Hill and two or three-storeyed houses are standing in rows on its both sides. ��� Arterial roads of the town forming a loop line are lined with dwelling houses with different styles and color roofs that match the landscape of the highland. ��� These houses differ from each other in their interior and exterior architecture. ��� Each house has two or three living rooms, a drawing-room a potato cellar, a storeroom or a garret. All the houses are fitted with electrical cooking devices and an electric heating system. ��� White birches, mountain ashes and flower gardens in residential districts are in perfect harmony with the scenery of forests. ��� Artificial ponds, parks and recreation grounds have appeared in the open space lined with larch trees to provide full cultural amenities to inhabitants. ��� There appeared Paektu house and a hotel of peculiar architectural style where guide to tour and other services are computerized. ��� Arch-style bridges and a suspension bridge have been built to link the existing street with a new street of Samjiyon township and a man-made lake and falls have also appeared there. ��� As a result, the town looks like a picture. ��� Modern dwelling houses that have sprung up in the areas of Phothae, Rimyongsu and Mubong add beauty to the spectacular scenery of the base of Mt. Korea under fire ��� Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- The South Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) held a "2001 national rally of workers" in Seoul yesterday with at least 20,000 unionists and their families attending, according to radio no. 1 from Seoul. In its resolution, the KCTU condemned the authorities' suppression of workers and demanded the release of its chairman Tan Pyong Ho, the guarantee of workers' vital rights and a halt to restructuring, etc. ��� Prior to this, the unionists conducted propaganda activities in different parts of Seoul as well as a demonstration. ��� Meanwhile, the authorities deployed more than 3,000 policemen of 25 companies in the area of Youido, where the rally took place. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paper on June 15 North-South Joint Declaration ��� Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- The June 15 North-South Joint Declaration issued last year is a declaration on independent reunification, great national unity and peaceful reunification, says Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article. economia impide la construccion de la economia independiente de los paises en vias de desarrollo y les fuerza a aceptar su capital y modo economico. el articulo senala: ��� en el pasado los imperialistas explotaron y saquearon a los pueblos de los paises en vias de desarrollo a traves del intercambio desigual, pero ahora lo hacen a traves de las companias transnacionales infiltradas en estos. estas se asemejan a las jeringas de inyeccion clavadas en las medulas espinales de los pueblos de dichos paises para sacar sangre. la "globalizacion" de la economia sirve de un narcotico para paralizar la sana conciencia de las gentes. ��� es decir, no pasa de ser un rotulo vistoso para impedir que los pueblos de los paises en vias de desarrollo se percaten de su modo de explotacion y saqueo. ��� en fin la "globalizacion" de la economia es para suprimir la economia nacional, "hacer occidental" la economia mundial, realizar el monopolio y dominio economicos e intensificar arbitrariamente la explotacion y saqueo en el ambito mundial. ��� la "globalizacion" de la economia no es una receta universal ni medicina eficiente. ��� los imperialistas nunca ayudan de buena voluntad a los paises en vias de desarrollo. utilizan como cebo el capital extranjero para lanzarles el lazo de esclavitud economica y apretarles el cuello. ��� el pilar de la economia nacional debe militares en la peninsula coreana. observaremos si ee.uu. se esfuerza por tomar el camino de la mejora del ambiente de dialogo y de la creacion de confianza y haremos lo que debemos hacer segun la premisas" con la rpdc. pero, sigue recurriendo a las acciones que nos ofenden y continua: ��� ee.uu. so pretexto de "hacer frente al caso de emergencia" de la peninsula coreana dicto a sus tropas en sudcorea la orden de mantener la "postura de alerta" y al mismo tiempo traslada de su territorio a sudcorea unidades de golpe movil y equipos. ��� en lo tocante al problema de la "reanudacion del dialogo" bush al tergiversar por completo la verdad censuro muy groseramente nuestro pais. ��� recientemente ee.uu. censuro hasta el problema de la "religion" de nuestro pais irritandonos gravemente. tal actitud no tiene nada que ver con el dialogo y solo complicara el problema. ��� si ee.uu. tiene de veras la voluntad de reanudar el dialogo con la rpdc debe tomar la correcta postura sobre el de declaracion conjunta norte-sur ��� pyongyang, 12 de noviembre (atcc) -- el diario "rodong sinmun" en el numero de hoy inserto un articulo individual que senala: la declaracion conjunta norte-sur del 15 de junio publicada el ano pasado es la de la gran unidad nacional y la de la reunificacion independiente y pacifica de corea. ��� el espiritu fundamental del documento lo constituyen la independencia nacional y la reunificacion independiente. ��� la reintegracion de corea debe ser realizada por via pacifica conforme a los intereses, la voluntad y la demanda independientes de la nacion coreana, duena de esta causa suprema nacional. solo cuando los integrantes de la nacion coreana aunan sus fuerzas para luchar de manera independiente podran resolver por via pacifica el problema de la reunificacion. ��� la declaracion conjunta refleja tambien los medios para realizar la reunificacion independiente y pacifica. ��� en el norte y el sur de corea existen los dos regimenes diferentes. bajo esta situacion su reunificacion debe ser realizada por la formula del sistema federativo basado en una nacion, un estado, dos regimenes y dos gobiernos segun el principio de no vencer ni ser vencida una parte por la otra. ��� a traves de dicha declaracion, el norte y el sur de corea se comprometieron a la reunificacion por el sistema federal y asi dejan abierta una coyuntura para lograr la reunificacion independiente y pacifica de la nacion coreana por la formula del sistema federativo. ��� en la declaracion conjunta del 15 de junio toda la nacion ve una clara
