THE PCN-NCP LAUNCHES A CALL IN ORDER TO STOP THE PERSECUTIONS OF THE LATVIAN REGIME AGAINST ANTI-IMPERIALIST ACTIVISTS AND THE RUSSIAN MINORITY! Alina Lebedva, a National-bolshevik activist and russian speaking 16 years old girl, could spend the next 15 years of her life in jail. What is her crime? Having wanted to show, while the visit of the prince of Wales in Latvia, her strong opposition to NATO and the war that are leading the American and the English against the Afghan people. Threatened of 15 years of jail, Alina Lebedva didn't yet tempt to murder the prince of Wales. She didn't prepare an attempt, she didn't even tempt to wound it. No, her crime is having thrown at the prince's face, in sign of protest against the imperialistic politics of Great Brittain and its American ally, a simple red carnation, wich symboles her anti-imperialistic fight. In a democracy, that would have just been an insignificant incident, but the Latvian regime reacted with the persecution and the internment. Accusing Alina Lebedva, that spent several days of jail, for " having put at stake the life of a foreign dignitary�, the die-hard-repressive Latvian state is ready to treat her like a terrorist and a criminal. And even though the justice didn't bring its verdict, the young activist is risking otherwise the internment. In Latvia, the opponents to the regime are said to be madmen.Who could criticize, even symbolically, with a handful of flowers, a regime that is supporting neo-Nazi parades, who persecutes its russian speaking community, while sustaining the worse imperialistic policies all over the world? To militate against NATO or the western wars, to refuse that Nazi have more liberty than the antifascist, that is " lunacy " in Latvia.That is why Alina Lebedva is risking 15 years of jail or the psychiatric asylum.When, every year, former Latvian Waffen SS considered as anticommunism heroes, but were especially slaughters of Jewish (there is no more Jewish community of Riga), are marching in streets of Riga, with the presence of general officer, the progressive contesation is treated with electroshocks. Anti-semitism and Nazism are not crimes for the Latvian regime that is accustomed to persecutions of minorities. The old SS are less dangerous, as it seems, that one activist who is refusing the adherence of her country to NATO and the imperialistic war. But the Latvian state is mistaken, if it believes it is able to appeal to its western masters while criminalizing the political contestation of these citizens. Since the independence, Latvia is one of the countries in Europe where the linguistic and national minorities are the most mistreated, where their members hardly have the right to most elementary to the citizenship. The first of these communities, russian speaking minority is the permanent victim of the xenophobia of the Latvian regime. And the former SS are tolerated, even encouraged, because they are in the same mood with a regime that helps everything that can nourish, closely or from afar, the hate of the Russian neighbor and everything that recalls the soviet empire. These persecutions must stop! It is unbearable that there is in Europe a nation where, according to the same terms of the ECRA (European Center of Research and action on Racism and Anti-semitism), there is a "30�s" style xenophobia. Where are the human rights, that seems so important to Western Europe, when the prince of Wales is visiting a nation that looks like Germany of the 30�s? Are the European Union and NATO ready to welcome in their breast countries whose regimes persecute their minorities and their legitimate objectors? Must we continue to support nostalgic activism of the former SS, a tool of the Latvian state? At these questions, the PCN-NCP�s answer is no! We launch today an international call in order to sustain Alina Lebedva, courageous anti-imperialistic activist, who refuses diktates of the New world order and NATO, the aggression against the Afghan people and the setting up of a fascist regime in Afghanistan. Alina Lebedva can sympathize with the people of Kaboul: she lives herself in a dictatorship controled by the west, Latvia. We demand that all attacks against her are abandoned, and that she could escape the horror of the internment. We demand to stop the persecution of the political protesters and the national minorities in Latvia, where russian speaking community is suffering an unbearable segregation. No to the nazification of Latvia! No to the incarceration of political opponents in jail or asylum ! No to the persecution of the russian speaking minority in Latvia! The PCN-NCP. Militante nationale-bolchevique et russophone, Alina Lebedva, 16 ans, risque aujourd'hui de passer les 15 prochaines ann�es de sa vie en prison. Son crime ? Avoir voulu manifester, lors d'une visite du prince de Galles en Lettonie, sa farouche opposition � l'OTAN et � la guerre que m�nent les am�ricains et les anglais contre le peuple afghan. Menac�e de 15 ans de prison, Alina Lebedva n'a pourtant pas tent� d'assassiner le prince de Galles. Elle n'a pas pr�par� d'attentat, elle n'a m�me pas tent� de le blesser. Non, son crime est d'avoir, en signe de protestation contre la politique imp�rialiste de la Grande Bretagne et de son alli� am�ricain, jet� � la figure du prince un simple �illet rouge, symbole de son combat anti-imp�rialiste. Face � ce qui n'aurait �t�, dans une d�mocratie, qu'un incident anodin, le r�gime letton a r�agi par la pers�cution et l'internement. Accusant Alina Lebedva, qui a fait plusieurs jours de prison, de � mise danger de la vie d'un dignitaire �tranger �, l'Etat letton ultra-r�pressif s'appr�tent � la traiter comme une terroriste et une criminelle. Et m�me si la justice n'a pas encore rendu son verdict, la jeune militante contestataire risque par ailleurs l'internement. En effet, en Lettonie, les opposants au r�gime sont syst�matiquement trait�s de � fous �. Quel esprit sain, en effet, pourrait critiquer, m�me symboliquement, avec une poign�e d'�illets, un r�gime qui regarde d'un �il bienveillant les d�fil�s n�o-nazis, qui pers�cute sa communaut� russophone, tout en soutenant les pires politiques imp�rialistes dans le monde entier ? Militer contre l'OTAN ou les guerres occidentales, refuser que les nazis aient plus de libert� que les antifascistes, voici ce qu'est la � folie � en Lettonie. Voici, aussi, pourquoi Alina Lebedva risque 15 ann�es de prison ou l'asile psychiatrique. Tandis que, chaque ann�e, les anciens de la Waffen SS lettone consid�r�s comme des h�ros de l'anticommunisme, mais qui furent surtout des massacreurs de juifs (il ne reste rien de la communaut� juive de Riga), d�filent impun�ment dans les rues de Riga, en pr�sence d�officiers g�n�raux, la contestation progressiste est trait�e � coups d'�lectrochocs. L'antis�mitisme et le nazisme ne sont pas des crimes pour le r�gime letton habitu� aux pers�cutions des minorit�s. Les anciens SS sont moins dangereux, semble-t-il, qu'une seule militante refusant l'adh�sion de son pays � l'OTAN et la guerre imp�rialiste. Mais l'Etat letton se trompe, s'il croit pouvoir gagner les faveurs de ses ma�tres occidentaux en criminalisant la contestation politique de ces citoyens. Depuis son ind�pendance, la Lettonie est l'un des pays d'Europe o� les minorit�s linguistiques et nationales sont les plus maltrait�es, o� leurs membres ont � peine le droit � la plus �l�mentaire � la citoyennet�. La premi�re de ces communaut�s, la minorit� russophone, est ainsi la victime permanente de la x�nophobie du r�gime letton. Et si les anciens SS sont tol�r�s, voire encourag�s, c'est bien parce qu'ils sont en phase avec un r�gime favorable � tout ce qui peut alimenter, de pr�s ou de loin, la haine du voisin russe et de tout ce qui rappelle l'empire sovi�tique. Ces pers�cutions doivent cesser ! Il n'est pas tol�rable que subsiste en Europe une nation o�, selon les termes m�mes du CERA (Centre Europ�en de Recherche et d'Action sur le Racisme et l'Antis�mitisme ), r�gne incontestablement une x�nophobie tr�s � entre-deux-guerres �. O� sont les droits de l'homme si important, soi-disant, pour les europ�ens occidentaux, lorsque le prince de Galles visite une nation qui ressemble � l'Allemagne des ann�es 1930 ? L'Union Europ�enne et l'OTAN sont-ils donc pr�t � accueillir en leur sein des pays dont les r�gimes pers�cutent leurs minorit�s et leurs opposants l�gitimes ? Doit-on encore supporter l'activisme nostalgique des anciens SS instrumentalis�s par l'Etat letton ? A ces questions, le PCN-NCP r�pond : non ! Nous lan�ons aujourd'hui un appel international pour que soit soutenue Alina Lebedva, courageuse militante anti-imp�rialiste, qui refuse les diktats du Nouvel ordre mondial et de l�OTAN, l'agression contre le peuple afghan et la mise en place d'un r�gime fasciste en Afghanistan. Alina Lebedva peut bien compatir avec le peuple de Kaboul : elle vit elle-m�me sous une dictature rampante qui a la b�n�diction de l'Occident, la Lettonie. Nous demandons que toutes les poursuites � son encontre soient abandonn�es, et que l'horreur de l'internement lui soit �pargn�e. Nous demandons que cessent la pers�cution des contestataires politiques et des minorit�s nationales en Lettonie, au premier rang desquelles la communaut� russophone qui est l'objet d'une s�gr�gation intol�rable.
