Message From TAYAD London Today, Sunday January 27, 2002, on the 464th day of the Death Fast in Turkey's prisons, TAYAD supporters held a protest in front of St Martin In The Fields church near Trafalgar Square in central London. They displayed a banner and distributed leaflets for about an hour as a means of enlightening public opinion about the Death Fast, with its 85 martyrs so far, and the ongoing resistance of political prisoners in Turkey. This was the third consecutive Sunday on which such a protest had taken place.
