huh. I looked at some of the history plugin code, and it seems like it
*should* be using your settings... but it uses mm/dd/yy for me too,
and I'm quite sure my settings are different. I think that in
historydialog.cpp, if Qt::LocalDate was changed to QT::ISODate it
might make a difference, but I can't test it right now.

I guess when it says "locale settings" it means something to do with
the language stuff, and not kde's settings. and being canadian, I get
the darn american settings...
