Sorry, I will not drop Qt, that would mean rewrite the library.

I prefer doing bindings instead to Python, Ruby, and D-BUS.

Ok, this is a perfectly understandable design choice.

We've decided not to include this project to the list of our proposed projects because of this dependency: it would not be usable by a project that wouldn't want to include Qt into its dependency list.

I'm sorry that we can't collaborate this time, but I hope we'll be able to share ideas and source code later.
