Hello.
I am since a week ago using kopete 0.12.3 and kde 3.5.5 from gentoo portage.
I have recently been using Kubuntu edgy, for about a month.
Before that I was runnning all KDE related programs from kde-svn 3.5 branch.
Just so you know I have been jumping around quite a bit lately. So I am not
reporting this as a bug or anything. (ATM, anyway) I guess my issue is just
because I failed making a correct backup.

Now,
I love the fact that the "MSN protocol support" displays all those annoying
animated thingies (not the nudges) that MSN people tend to add to their
accounts. But now they are rendered empty in my kopete. The key words that
should be replaced with smileys are gone, but the smileys never appear. So a
sentence which should look like:

LOL, that's funny

might render:

, that's

because they had replaced "LOL" and "funny" with animated icons and kopete
can't find them.

I would guess the directory where all those files are kept is missing, but
kopete tries to use them. I want to reset kopete's knowledge about these
things. Is there any way to do it without zapping all my kopete settings and
chat history completely?

Thanks
