Well, on the 12h disconnects, my jabber accounts reconnect without any
notification of network problems. Nonetheless, sometimes, if a jabber server
has got problems I will get an error message. Are you sure that your network
problems dialogs are caused by a short disconnection less than 10 seconds?
By the way, you should turn off all the connection status plugins when using a
router. They just do not work in this case as far as I know. This is because
they use netstat or smpppd. These tools are bound to check the local
connectivity and, thus, cannot check the connectivity status of your router.
