The statistics plugin does record-keeping.
The duplication of info in the tooltips is not really happening. The top line
is the meta-contact name. The next lines correspond to contacts in the
metacontact. In each of those lines, the bold name is the contact display name,
and the parenthesized name is the contact's true screenname. If you have not
set these names to something different than the contact's screenname, then
duplication will occur.
Away messages also included in the tooltip on a per-protocol support basis, as
well as the time when the contact signed on. (For more protocols to support
these little bits, file individual bugs reports for each protocol)
Since every grievance in this bug has already been solved, I am marking it
WONTFIX.
