I suspect I can set up the whitelist do she can add to it. 

I can assure you that she won't like the sort of spam that you and 
I laugh at. I have known her for 63 years and have a pretty good idea
of how she thinks. 

So back to the original question. What is a simple way to implement
a whitelist? I suspect I can wrap a simple (TCL/TK) gui around it if
need be to make it more user friendly.
