In order for a language to 'move towards' something it actually has
to register a faint heartbeat on the EKG.  The 2 languages you mentioned are
relatively dead in comparison to Perl, Ruby, C#, Java and Python many
of which are either acquiring LISP like stuff or started out
as "C like language with LISP stuff mixed in" from the get go.
