How is postfix configured? Are you running a full time mail server, or
on a dial-up connection? As root run "postconf -n" and post the output
to the list. My best guess is that you have the values for
"myhostname", "mydomain" and "myorigin" set improperly for the way you
are using postfix. Without more details it's difficult to give an
answer. Also take a look at the values for masquerade_classes. If you
are using your ISPs mail server to send mail, then you should have a
value for "relayhost".
