If that single hit is responsible for your spam, then sorry. I'll go reconfigure the list software to turn off the downloadable archives altogether - they're unnecessary as far as I can see. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

*whimper*

The only reason I've kept dilligent copies of my kplug-list mail was because I couldn't find a coherent and complete downloadable archive...

I don't use them all the time, but, at least in the past, I've had much better results downloading the list archives and searching through those with handy (and nearly infinitely flexible) unix tools than using any of the provided list-search tools. Particularly since I have the option of having my search results generate a new mailbox which I can then use in my mail client directly, which pleases me, since, well, it's mail.

If I'm the only one that cares about the downloadable archives, then go ahead and turn them off, though. No need to get Stewart up in a huff. :)

Either that, or we can switch to Trunk, which has an option of only allowing people to join who's GPG public keys have been signed by some threshold number of existing list members. :)
