What LISP editor/IDE do you use??? freenode's #lisp channel likes an Emacs minor-mode called SLIME. Ever used it? I'm trying to learn it now.
I use it with xemacs and OpenMCL, but not very well. I only use a very small fraction of its capability.
It has quirks like all IDE's. However, it is very capable.
You might want to go look at the stuff about Portable Hemlock for a full blown IDE.
In addition, for the Python followers, IPython has had some major upgrades lately. It also apparently has a very nice emacs mode, as well.
