Just had a question for anyone that's flashed their WRT-54G with Sveasoft or OpenWRT: is it possible, once the router is running the new firmware, to re-flash it with the Linksys-supplied firmware?
Yes. Saving the ROM is part of the process (if you care). Though you can still brick it by not getting it into a state that you could reload the ROM anyway !
I'm considering using OpenWRT (don't particularly care about the webby interface), pending some more research into it, and was just wondering if it supports re-flashing if I decide that the Linksys firmware was good enough?
