If they're entitled to own the movies they make, then
there's no reason we should ever take away that entitlement. Certainly not arbitrarily like that. And if they're *not* entitled to
own the movies they make, then we shouldn't even pretend like it in
the first place, because then we're removing the right that the rest
of us have to use/copy/view the movie as we like.

In my opinion, you can't possibly own anything which you can't take with you to the afterlife. In other words, you don't truly *own* anything in this life, and it's pure hubris to believe otherwise. Alas, few others follow my philosophy, thus I'm compelled to live the lie lest I find myself hanging from a tree somewhere by my "own" rope.
