Back when we first got our dog, one of our neighbors was being an ass and
calling animal control out on us, claiming we weren't caring for her. The
Animal Control lady apparently came to our front door, knocked several
times, peeked over the gate into the back yard, and had to confirm with a
neighbor who happened to be present that we indeed did have a dog.

Our little girl (60lb German Shepherd) was likely just standing on the other
side of the door waiting to see if someone was going to come in or not. :)

I have no expectations of her making a good guard dog at all. She likes
people too much. :)
