Trend Micro's PC-Cillin is good, as are mcafee and norton, IF you can
find 'em on sale, like at Frys, and NOT install all the other junk.
Use free zonealarm for firewall.

unfortunately, the person need windows 2000, linux is just not an option right
now. we tried, but there are too many hurdles to overcome for her.
a decent personal windows based firewall would be nice too, if you have any
suggestions.
