I was looking at the Maxtor One Touch Hard Drives
<http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,1230498,00.asp>, and was
wondering if anyone has created an open source version of the software
that would work on Linux.

>From the information I found on Google, it appears that the drive will
work fine on Linux, but the "One-Touch" functionality will not work.
It looks like the only reason the "One-Touch" functionality won't work
on Linux is because the program is Windows based (as opposed to some
kind of incompatibility preventing it from working).

Does anyone know if there is anyone working on an Open Source
One-Touch solution that will work with Linux and the Maxtor One Touch
Hard Drives? If not the Maxtor drive, are there any other One-Touch
Hard Drives that work with Linux (e.g

Thank you,
Menachem
