Second this one. I learned first UNIX then Linux from Evi Nemeth (et al.) starting with the famous "Red Book" (UNIX Systems Administrator's Handbook, 2nd edition). If you need to administer non-Linux Unices you might look to the 3rd edition but it's a teeny bit dated (Red Hat 7.2 anyone?). They're concise, clear, and action-packed.
