Video Card: Avoid ATI, particularly older ones (I had all-in-wonder 128,
TV out doesn't function with Gatos drivers). I used the onboard video card
on the motherboard along with an AverKey iMicro signal converter to convert
to composite/s-video that I bought used on ebay for $40 or so. Results
with an nvidia card would probably be better.

Memory: I bought the fastest DDR 512M dimm that was available at the time,
it seems ample to run mythTV and a bunch of remote shells, programs, etc.

HD: It's worth your while to get the biggest one that you can. The 160 Gb
I have fills up like nobody's business. I got about 20 shows/movies recorded
on there, at varying bitrates. Spend as much money as you can.

Anyone done HDTV yet with Mythtv? I'd like to hear some experiences.
