I have have had the logitech combo for a year or two now. Works great.
My only complaint is that when the batteries die (every few months) I am
shocked because it appears my machine has locked up so I end up
scratching my head for a while before I realize it is the batteries then
I stomp around the house unhappily as I try to figure out where I put
those AAA's. For my needs a wireless keyboard may not be necessary but I
really do like the wireless mouse. So in the future I may go with wired
keyboard but get one of those new mice that come with the internal
batteries and a recharging stand.

Say, anyone here played with that new laser mouse? Most optical mice
just have an LED in them, not an actual laser. But they have one out now
that really does have a laser which is supposed to offer even higher
resolution movement on any kind of surface.

Definitely. CPU's are way fast now. IO is the slowest part of any
computer. More ram and faster disk/network are what are needed.

I am considering investing in some SATA drives to play with AoE so I can
play with migrating xen processes around. What difficulty did you have
with SATA?
