I've had it with Nvidia. My brand new dual-head card (had to buy a new one because I bought a new machine and my old dual-head card was AGP and the new machine only has PCI-X, already sold the old card) will not work with the proprietary drivers under Xen. Their driver makes assumptions which do not hold true under Xen. And any machine I use from now on will be running xen. So after a couple of years of causing me migraines every time I had to do something funky with a kernel nvidia is out for good.
What is the best video card to run on Linux? Is there any way to do dual-head these days with any other card? I really don't want to give up my dual displays but I will if I must. -- Tracy R Reed http://ultraviolet.org -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
